Love Your Neighbor

Paul was impressed by the Ephesians’ “love for all the saints” (chapter 1), yet the entire epistle admonishes them to unite.  Jews and non-Jews seemingly had a bit of trouble getting along.  It made me wonder….  Just how much do I really bear love toward all the saints, or even all my friends, or family?

Do I love the way the Jews loved the Greeks back in Paul’s day?  Or maybe, closer to home, do I love the way Methodists love Baptists, or the way Northerners love Southerners, or maybe the way Seminoles love Gators?  :)   Seriously though, I sure hope not.  I want to love the way Jesus loves sinners, the way the Father loves the Son, the way God loves His creation.
